Micro Precision Current Transformer is a high-precision sensing component specially designed for tiny, low-amplitude AC current measurement, widely adopted in precision power monitoring, new energy converters, medical power supplies, laboratory test equipment and industrial automation control systems. Unlike conventional large current transformers built for heavy industrial loads, this miniature product focuses on capturing microampere to low-ampere weak current signals with outstanding linearity and low measurement error, filling the technical gap in high-accuracy micro-current detection scenarios.


Its core structural design abandons bulky silicon steel cores and adopts ultra-thin nanocrystalline or amorphous alloy magnetic cores. The secondary winding is wound with insulated ultra-fine enameled wire under automated precision winding processes, guaranteeing consistent turn ratios and stable transformation accuracy. The whole assembly is encapsulated with high-temperature epoxy resin, which insulates windings from external electromagnetic interference, resists moisture, dust and vibration, and extends service life under harsh industrial operating environments.


In terms of core performance indicators, standard micro precision current transformers maintain ratio error below ±0.05% and phase shift error less than 5 minutes within the rated measuring range. They feature wide operating frequency bandwidth, covering low-frequency power grid signals to medium-high frequency switching ripple currents produced by inverters and chargers. Even under micro-current input close to the detection threshold, the output signal remains smooth without distortion, which is critical for power efficiency analysis, leakage current monitoring and harmonic data collection.

For new energy power electronics, it accurately samples tiny bus currents inside vehicle inverters and photovoltaic converters, enabling real-time closed-loop control and overcurrent protection to avoid device burnout. Compared with alternative current sensing solutions such as shunt resistors and open-loop Hall sensors, micro precision current transformers offer galvanic isolation between primary and secondary circuits, which greatly improves system safety and suppresses common-mode interference. While shunt resistors generate power loss and lack isolation, and Hall sensors suffer from poor low-current accuracy, this transformer balances measurement precision, signal stability and electrical safety comprehensively.
