Digital Panel Meter
A Digital Panel Meter (DPM) is a full‑fledged electronic measuring instrument that converts incoming electrical signals into readable digital outputs on LED or LCD screens.
It measures voltage, current, power, energy and other parameters, available in single‑function and multi‑function versions. Current transformers are required for AC measurements.
It requires auxiliary power supply, and supports RS485 communication, alarm and analog transmission. Common standard cut‑out sizes include 48×96 mm and 72×72 mm.
It features high‑precision intuitive digital display, flexible panel‑mount installation and wide signal compatibility with optional alarm and communication functions.
It is widely applied in industrial distribution cabinets, power supply equipment and automatic machinery for real‑time electrical parameter monitoring.

What Is A Digital Panel Meter?
A digital panel meter is an electronic measuring device used to display electrical or physical parameters in a clear digital format. It is commonly installed on control panels, industrial equipment, power distribution systems, and automation systems to monitor and display values such as voltage, current, power, temperature, frequency, pressure, and other measurement signals. Compared with traditional analog meters that use a pointer and scale, digital panel meters provide higher readability, better accuracy, and more convenient data monitoring.

A current transformer meter is an electrical measuring device that combines a current transformer with a monitoring meter to measure, display, and monitor electrical current in power systems. It is widely used in industrial equipment, commercial buildings, power distribution cabinets, renewable energy systems, and electrical testing applications. The device allows users to safely measure high alternating current without directly connecting the measuring instrument to the main power conductor.
Read MoreIs A Multimeter The Same As A Voltage Meter?
Many people use the terms multimeter and voltmeter interchangeably, but they are not the same. A voltmeter is a single‑purpose tool, while a multimeter is a comprehensive device that includes a voltmeter as one of its functions. Understanding their differences helps users choose the right tool for electrical work.
