A Low Voltage (LV) Current Transformer is an electrical device used to measure and monitor current in low-voltage systems while providing electrical isolation between high-power circuits and measurement instruments.
Working Principle:
The LV current transformer operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The primary conductor carrying the current passes through or is wound around the magnetic core. This alternating current generates a magnetic flux in the core, inducing a proportional current in the secondary winding. The secondary current is then used for metering, monitoring, or protective relays, while safely isolating the measuring instruments from the high-current primary circuit.
Features:
High measurement accuracy and linearity
Stable performance and low phase error
Compact and easy-to-install design
Provides electrical isolation for safety
Suitable for both metering and protection
Applications:
LV current transformers are widely used in low-voltage power distribution systems, industrial automation, energy management, overload detection, and
The TR-EVT11-10 type electronic voltage sensor adopts the principle of resistance voltage division, and the epoxy resin is vacuum cast.
